Creativity and Compassion in the time of CoVid
September 29 @ 5:30 pm
An event every 2 weeks that begins at 5:30 pm on Tuesday, repeating until November 24, 2020
This series is designed to help participants find creative avenues to reduce stress, enhance comfort with creative expression and find new connections within themselves and with others, especially now during the CoVid-19 pandemic. Expressive Arts and Mind-Body techniques will be taught and utilized to reduce stress and anxiety, enhance creativity and self-awareness and most importantly to have fun!
Each session will include a short exercise to increase relaxation and focus as well as an expressive arts prompt. Participants will be asked to share their experience with the group, as their comfort level allows.
This workshop is online. NO art experience necessary.
All participants are asked to register for the full series of 5 sessions as the sessions build on one another. The cost is $125 per participant for all 5 sessions and is payable via PayPal, Apple Pay or by mailing a check (address below). We will use simple art supplies, most of which you already own or can easily acquire. A supply list will be sent to you once you register.
Registration is due by Wednesday 9/23/20. To ensure a sense of community and connection, the group will be limited in size so please register early!
